a grand adventure is about to begin

Just a little bit about me and my family :)

My name is Tabitha. I'm 20 years old. I'm happily married to my high school sweetheart. We were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, named Braedyn Marshall, on July 15th, 2011. I work part-time as a CNA. We just bought our first house together! And we are currently pregnant with our second child after TTC for six months! A baby girl that is due April 15th, 2013!

Braedyn was diagnosed with Left Coronal Craniosynostosis (if you don't know what it means, feel free to ask!) when he was four months old. On March 1st, 2012 he had surgery to fix it. Now, several months later he is a perfectly healthy, happy toddler. :)

I follow any parents. I don't care what parenting skills you use. As long as your child is well taken care of, why should I care? I'm not here to judge you, so don't judge me. Age does NOT define my parenting skills. I am an amazing mother and I know it. :D

Some things about my parenting:
-I breastfed for five months but my supply didn't hold up, so my son was formula-fed until a year old and is now on whole milk.
-We started baby cereal at four months; other solids at six months.
-I use the television as a babysitter on occasion.
-My son is circumcised. (However, if we were to ever have another baby boy he will NOT be circumcised. When Braedyn was born, I thought circumcision was just something that was done, I did not research it as I had thought it was "normal". I wish I had known more about it and regret that I didn't.) I do not judge mothers/fathers for any decisions they make regarding circumcision.
-I co-slept until my son was four months old, since then he has slept in his own crib. WITHOUT USING THE CRY IT OUT METHOD.
-I use disposable diapers, but would very much like to try cloth diapers with this next baby!

I love being a wife and mother. I would not change this life for anything in the world.
